Capitalist Alienation is made up of childhood friends who grew up in Saguenay, but who formed the group in Montreal. Tamiko is not the group's first singer. It was the bassist who convinced her to sing. Tamiko is the first Quebec loudmouth. The shows were renowned for the impetuosity of the audience. Tamiko now lives in Italy. Capitalist Alienation's self-titled album was re-released in 2021 with cover art designed by Away de Voïvod.
