November Grief is probably the first death metal band composed entirely of women in Quebec. The group was active from 1993 to 1994 under the name Mistrust, then under its current name until 1997. The singer and bassist reformed the group with new members in 2020.

Stéphanie Masson was bassist for the groups ex-Potion 13, ex-BurninFlesh.
