In El Salvador, Brazil, Piu Knup played guitar and bass in her first band Buddy Ravell, then bass in Dispor. In Mexico, she sang in the band Vontade, played guitar in Vaca Profana and played bass in Agravio and Destruido.

In addition to Ociosa, she also plays in the project Extraña Humana.

All her musical projects that Piu has collaborated on and collaborates on are punk, feminist, anti-racist and anti-war. Her pronouns are elle/Iel in French and She/they in English.
