Esjay Jones was born in South Africa. She was first a singer in the band Stealing Love Jones in her native country. Then, she became a nü-metal and rap producer. She produced the second album for Gray Daze (the first band of Linkin Park's Chester Bennington).

We Are PIGS includes collaborations with Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Brian “Head” Welch (Love and Death, KORN), Morgan Lander (Kittie).
