Blasphemous Death is one of the first all-female death metal bands, formed in the Bronx in 1992 by Marlene Jimenez. The band disbanded in 1995 and has been active again since 2021.

The members of Blasphemous Death are also members of the LGBT community and are activists against misogyny and discrimination.
