Grindmother is a mother-son project. Initially, it was a video, which went viral, of the mother who experimented with her first screams in front of her metal-loving son before becoming a full-fledged musical project.

On December 5th and 6th, 2025, Grindmother played their final shows in Toronto and Montreal, opening for Cattle Decapitation. Chelsea Marrow (Visitant), Liz Selfish (Brat), and Alissa White-Gluz (ex-Arch Enemy) performed Grindmother songs for the occasion.
