The Agonist was called Tempest in 2004. Alissa White-Gluz was a singer from 2004 to 2014. She had to leave the group when she joined the Swedish group Arch Enemy to replace singer Angela Gossow. Vicky Psarakis was the singer from 2014 until the group's disbandment in 2023. Alissa White-Gluz was also a live singer for the band Kamelot from 2011 to 2018.
